How to make “Hukinagashi” a kind of decorations for the Star Festival（七夕飾り・ふきながし）
Do you know how many decorations for the Star Festival there are?
It is said that there are as many as fifteen kinds.
One of them is called “Hukinagashi” in Japanese.
I want to introduce how to make “Hukinagashi” in the following movie.
As another article explains, it is said that Hikoboshi (Cow herder) and Orihime (Weaving Princess), are allowed to meet each other on the day of Tanabata(the Star festival).
“Hukinagashi” represents thread that Orihime uses.
It is decorated for us to hope to be better at weaving.
